Latex floats 8–10 hours, so fill close to party time. 20-inch letter/number foil balloons are often too heavy to float. Balloons are not included.
Fill up to 50 standard 9-inch latex balloons at home with Airloons — a compact, disposable helium tank filled with 99.95% purified helium. Screw on the easy-press nozzle, slip on a balloon, press, tie and repeat.
Key features
50 MEANS 9-INCH LATEX BALLOONS: This helium tank for 50 balloons fills 50 standard 9-inch latex balloons, or 20 at 12 inches. Foil balloons use far more helium, so expect seven at 18 inches or two at 36 inches. Plan your balloon mix before you check out.
HOW LONG THE FUN FLOATS: Latex is the life of the party, floating 8 to 10 hours at 9 or 12 inches, so fill it close to go time. Foil stays for the after-party: 2 to 5 days at 18 inches, 5 to 7 at 36. 20-inch letter/number foil is often too heavy to float.
PURER HELIUM, HAPPIER BALLOONS: Every Airloons helium tank kit holds 99.95% purified helium, so your balloons fill fully and float for longer. Airloons tests its helium to back every count and float time, so what you read is what you get.
NO PARTY PLANNER REQUIRED: If you can twist on a lid, you can do this. Screw on the easy-press nozzle, slip on a balloon, press to fill, tie, repeat. Designed light and compact, never bulky, this portable mini helium tank has a built-in carry handle.
LET AIRLOONS DO THE HEAVY LIFTING: Skip the decorator, skip the party store run. Birthdays, baby showers, gender reveals, graduations, weddings, anniversaries: whatever you're celebrating, you can deck the room yourself. No pro experience needed.

Frequently asked questions
How many balloons will the 50-balloon canister fill?
Up to 50 standard 9-inch latex balloons, or 20 at 12 inches. Larger balloons and foil balloons use more helium, so you'll fill fewer — see the size guide at the top of this page.
Can I use it for foil balloons?
Yes. This canister fills about 7 standard 18-inch foil balloons or 2 at 36 inches. For letter and number foil balloons, expect about 2 at 20 inches or 1 at 30 inches — note that 20-inch letter/number foils are often too heavy to float.
How long will my balloons stay afloat?
Latex balloons typically float for 8–10 hours, so inflate them close to party time. Foil balloons last much longer: around 2–5 days at 18 inches and 5–7 days at 36 inches.
What's included?
One Airloons canister pre-filled with 99.95% purified helium, plus the easy-fill nozzle. Balloons and ribbon aren't included, so grab your favourite balloons separately.
How do I inflate balloons with it?
1. Pull off the valve cap on top of the canister. 2. Screw the easy-fill nozzle onto the valve clockwise until tight. 3. Place the balloon neck over the nozzle tip and press it down firmly. 4. Inflate until the balloon feels firm — don't over-stretch — then release the nozzle and tie off your balloon. See our How To Use page for a video walkthrough.
Is the canister refillable?
No. Each Airloons canister is single-use and disposable.
How do I dispose of an empty canister?
Press the nozzle until no more gas escapes, and never puncture, crush or burn the canister, even when empty. Empty canisters can usually be recycled as scrap metal — check with your local council or household waste recycling centre. More on our Recycling & Storage page.
How should I store an unused canister?
Store it upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat, out of reach of children, and use it within the shelf life printed on the canister.
Is it safe to use at home?
Yes, when used as directed for balloon inflation. The canister contains pressurised, non-flammable helium. It's for inflating balloons only — never inhale it — and keep it away from children.
How does UK delivery work?
UK orders are dispatched from our Bournemouth fulfilment centre and delivered by Yodel or InPost, typically within 3 days. Because canisters contain compressed gas, we can't use Royal Mail or the Post Office.
Can I return my order?
UK customers have a 14-day right to cancel most orders. This doesn't apply once a canister has been unsealed or used, unless it's faulty. Questions? Email info@airloons.com — we usually reply within 24 hours.
